Bec is just starting to come down off a super high having won on the weekend (Dec 14th) the ISS World Cup qualifier on Koyuna Ted! There couldn’t have been a more perfect way to top off what has been a fantastic year for the combination.
So much so, that it has inspired Bec to try and get the funds together to go to New Zealand in the new year to compete at the Horse of the Year Show in March 2009. Using this as a lead up to aiming to go even further afield to compete in 2010, with the world Equestrian Games in Kentucky now firmly in her sights.
To get there though is a huge effort financially and to try and help her on her way, the community is getting behind her with a dinner and an auction to be held on the 31st of January at the Arthur’s Creek Hall. Tickets are $50 a head or $100 per family and there will be lots of fun to be had, so if you are interested in showing your support you can purchase a ticket by calling Becky on 9714 8315.
